The three knife cutterhead is equipped with precision ground steel knives designed for aggressive material removal and consistent thicknessing across a variety of hardwoods and softwoods. Powered by a 2HP, 115 volt motor turning the cutterhead at 9,500 RPM, this planer provides strong cutting performance on standard household circuits. The rugged four post construction ensures stable head movement, while folding infeed and outfeed tables support longer workpieces. A depth stop preset enables quick, repeatable thickness settings, and dust port accept both 2-1/2 inch and 4 inch hoses for easy dust collection.
