Iverhart Max Soft Chews are bacon-flavored chews for dogs, administered monthly to prevent heartworm disease caused by *Dirofilaria immitis* by eliminating the tissue stage of heartworm larvae for 30 days. These chews also treat and control roundworms (*Toxocara canis*, *Toxascaris leonina*), hookworms (*Ancylostoma caninum*, *Uncinaria stenocephala*, *Ancylostoma braziliense*), and tapeworms (*Dipylidium caninum*, *Taenia piriformis*). Iverhart Max Soft Chews' active ingredients include Praziquantel, Pyrantel Pamoate, and Ivermectin. This works by eliminating tapeworms, roundworms, and hookworms in the adult stage and prevents heart worms in tissue larval stage as shown in lab studies.

Special Precautions

Keep this and all medication away from animals and children. For dogs weighing less than 10 pounds who are underweight, debilitated or sick, use caution. This medication has not been tested in lactating or pregnant bitches. Before beginning treatment with this medication, your dog should be tested for heart worm. This medication is not effective in adult heart worms.
