This whole house filter features a high capacity of 150,000 gallons of water filtration at 100ppb for lead. We have city water and ever since we moved in we had been able to smell chlorine when we first turned on the water and we would get very fine particles of sand in the tub when we first turned it on. Now with the filter in place, no more smell, and no more sand! Plus all of our skin seemed to get a lot less dry and itchy in the winter months like it used to. For that alone, this system is worth it.
