No more chlorine scent in the water

Finally ordered and installed a whole house water filter. I did my best installing it and am happy with the end result. It looks good and works well. I've read that chlorine can shorten the life of the softening media in a water softener. I plumbed the filter so water comes into the softener loop, runs through the filter, and then back into the softener. This eliminates the concern for chlorine. We have soft, scent free water that tastes great. I'm really surprised at how effective this filter is at polishing city water. Special thanks to Laurence for his assistance.

I looked at several whole home systems and found this to be the simplest and complete system I need for my particular home. It fit exactly where I needed it to fit and install was simple and straight forward, my only concern was the rubber seals and making sure that they are clean and securely placed. Overall it's great every six months I crawl down under and change the filters and clean out the canisters.
