Incurin (Estriol) Tablets are used to treat urinary incontinence and leaks in spayed female dogs. The short-acting estrogen in Incurin helps restore sphincter muscle function, which may be weakened due to low reproductive hormones, effectively managing incontinence and related symptoms. How it Works
Incurin® is activated by short-acting estrogen. It restores the tone of the sphincter muscle when the decreased sphincter control is due to decreased reproductive hormones.
Special Precautions
- Keep away from children.
- Not safe for human consumption.
- For animal use only.
- Some types of estrogen have been linked with changes in bone marrow and an increase in mammary tumor risk. However, post-market pharmacovigilance data and target animal safety study outcomes show that dogs treated with estriol are at lower risk for development of these conditions.
Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.
Side Effects
The most frequently reported adverse reactions were:
- Vomiting (experienced in about 10% of dogs)
- Appetite reduction (experienced in about 13% of dogs)
Storage
Store at or below 25°C (77°F) with excursions permitted to 40°C (104°F)
