If you are looking for. 15.00 bag of alfalfa, buy this garbage. Literally less than a handful of “flowers” strategically placed in the window of the bag…absolute waste of money…Impeckables should be embarrassed

Since my girls can't free-range and spend most of their time in a run, I'm always looking for something that encourages natural foraging. This mix does give them something to scratch through, and they enjoy the activity. That said, the packaging is definitely misleading. The window makes it look like the bag is full of marigold petals and larvae, but once opened, it's mostly large pieces of alfalfa with only a small amount of marigold and very few (if any) black soldier fly larvae mixed in. My flock will pick at it, but the long alfalfa pieces aren't very practical or safe for them to eat. Overall, it works as a light enrichment sprinkle, but it's not the balanced treat mix I expected based on the packaging.

A bag of dusty broken up alfalfa pieces with very few flowers and I don’t recall seeing any black fly larvae.

Super frustrating to open the bag and 95% of it is alfalfa and theres maybe a handful of marigold in it. I could have picked the ones in my yard and had more than what was in this bag 🤣
