The hose appears to be made with quality materials, but is not great for sprinkler use or hands free watering as water must be at full blast to maintain pressure and maximum hose length. It is lightweight and easy to store, but not practical for a garden hose. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to purchase as it was an expensive hose, and I need to purchase another standard garden hose for practical use.

I had to replace the first hydro tech that I had purchased because the end was plastic. We live in Tucson AZ and the threads melted where it connected to the metal faucet!!! The pro series has metal connections on both ends. But I absolutely love the hose. It's 100 ft long yet light enough for this old lady to use easily and it shrinks right back into a small basket when not in use. Love it! (It does really look like a snake though as it shrinks up and... living in the desert, that creeps me out! ? ? ?
