Husqvarna Power Axe 350i 18 in. 40V Cordless Chainsaw, Battery and Charger Included

I'm no professional logger or make my living with chainsaws but live on an acre of land filled with large pine trees and a few oaks, and I know how to use chainsaws. And here in north Alabama we get some strong storms every year that inevitably blow down at least parts of trees and large branches. I have three other cordless chainsaws but the Power Axe 350i has quickly become my favorite in only a month of ownership. I love the balance/feel and slightly lighter weight than my Oregon 16" CS325, and the cutting power is impressive...and I haven't even had to use the full power mode yet. I filed down the chain rakers just a bit and it cuts even better. This saw is a strong performer and just doesn't back down, and battery life is excellent. Some reviewers have complained about the 350i leaking bar oil when sitting but I'm not having that problem. I'm not a big fan of the chain tension system which is the same as on my Skil PowerCore 40 14" saw. But as long as it works and doesn't break over time, it's all good. So far it's been excellent for my needs and I prefer an 18" bar/chain for most of my needs. The 350i looks good, feels good and balanced, cuts exceptionally well and I'm looking forward to many good years with this saw. Highly recommended for homeowners who need a good strong, well-made 18" saw that doesn't back down in any type of wood. I'm now officially a Husqvarna chainsaw believer.

So far a great chainsaw, light and powerful

I just bought this saw and have only used it once, but so far I'm impressed by a battery powered saw. I've always used gas powered saws for 50 years, but just wanted something I could grab quick and use for smaller projects and so far this seemes like it will work great.
