fan not adaptable with new electrical system.

Was disappointed this fan could not be connected to wall switches as we are re-wiring our home’s electrical system, which is why we bought it. It can only be used with pull chains hanging down from the light/fan. Why???

I purchased the Hunter Newsome down rod Ceiling Fan as a replacement for my Hunter Brookline Ceiling Fan because it was the most similar in appearance. The new fan installed easily and worked perfectly with the existing Lutron switches. Happy with the replacement.
