This bit is commonly used for green horses or those with sensitive mouths. Readily accepted by most horses, this mild bit features a shaped mullen style mouthpiece with synthetic apple flavoring. This bit has a very stable feel in the horse's mouth and rests directly on the horse's tongue. Unlike jointed snaffles, this bit will not collapse when pressure is applied to the reins and instead offers even pressure along the length of the mouthpiece. The loose ring style cheek pc. encourages self carriage by the horse.
