A very mild bit that is a great choice for starting horses. Featuring an oval link double jointed mouthpiece, pressure is more evenly distributed across the tongue reducing the nutcracker effect. A rubber coating is gentle for sensitive mouths. It also encourages chewing and increases salivation, which relaxes the horse's jaw. The loose rings dissuade the horse from leaning on the rider's hands.
