We boarded our dogs during our recent family vacation and, despite being properly vaccinated, one of the dogs caught kennel cough. She had a horribly persistent cough that resulted in repeated gagging and throwing up clear fluids. We tried to get an appointment with our vet, but they didn't have any appointments until the next day. To give our poor pup some relief, I decided to try this product. Within MINUTES of giving her the first dose, her coughing immediately subsided almost entirely. I was so very thankful that she was able to get relief and rest after a sleeplessness night for us and the dogs. After about ~6 hours the cough started coming back, so I administered another dose. Over the past 24 hours, the frequency of needing to give her preventative doses has extended and she now needs about a half a dose every 8-10 hours. This product does what it advertises and I would recommend it. Based on her progress, I doubt we will need a vet visit after all, so this was also a very affordable alternative to a prescription medicine and vet visit.
