This is a great welder it is pull start but never fails to start on first pull it is a very smooth welder to work with have owned for close to a year and am very pleased . I have friends that are expert welders that have tried this machine and have nothing but good to say about it. Machine is very good on fuel.If your going to weld every day all day though by bigger welder with higher duty rating.

Needed this in a pinch to finish a job with a deadline. I was very disappointed to find that leads weren't included. Had to go back to the store and luckily found just enough wire and hardware, for a significant amount more (actual extra cost censored from this review by Tractor supply moderators). Called Hobart and was told "too many people complained that the leads we included were too short." Hobart's solution - don't include leads. Wouldn't be as upset if I could find clear indication that leads weren't included. 3 stars for good performance once I got it to a place where it could perform at all. May be my last Hobart purchase, though.
