Rated 5 out of 5 by from This welder is a beast in a little package Bought this two years ago and have used this welder/ generator on a mobile service truck , I can tell you it’s bigger then it’s rated . It always starts on first or second pull , we have had absolutely no problems at all . This is one thing we use a lot either welding or by the generator for mobile power supply in the field. There’s a lot of bigger welders / generators out there , if you weld on pipe continues then this is not for you , but if your a field technician this for you .

What length of leads do u recommend for this machine

Asked by: HRMM
The best kit would be 193067 which is a 20/15 foot #4 welding lead kit. You can go up to a 195195 #2 welding lead kit that is 50 feet each lead.

What size rod can you weld with it. Can you weld pipe fence

Asked by: jettex
The unit can run up to 5/32 rods and weld up to 1/4" material. The unit is rated at 145 amps maximum output and can weld with rods capable of that amperage. Pipe fence should be doable if the material is generally no thicker than 1/4".
