Q: What does 4PR mean? My lawn mower tire has NHS behind the numbers

  • A: The "4PR" in the description refers to the Ply of the tire. In this case, the Hi-Run WD1112 Replacement tire, 24X2-12 4PR has a Ply of 4. The NHS lawn mower tire stands for "Non-Highway Service". This just means that the tire is not approved for use on the highway.
