  • A: This Hi-Run WD1301 with diamond tread is mainly for wheelbarrows and small lawn equipment. Please check out WD1015 for super lug tread of the same size, which can be used on snow blowers.

Q: The tire I’m replacing is a 4.80-8. Is this tire the correct size to replace a 4.80-8 tire?

  • A: The Hi-Run WD1301 is a wheelbarrow tire. The brand also carries WD1065/WD1003 boat trailer tire, which has the same size but for highway service. Please make sure you buy the right tire for your application.

  • A: The Hi-Run WD1301 wheelbarrow tire is NHS (Not for Highway Service). Please check WD1003 or WD1065 (4.80-8) boat trailer tires, both can run on highway with speed rating L (75miles/hour).

Good tire. Recommend spreading the sidewall for a day or so to make it easier to set the bead.
