Blades keep rusting without getting wet

I keep these trimmers in my garage, they never get wet, but the blades rust very quick. I have to use sand paper to keep them usable. Need to find a better pair.

My favorite pair of shears.

Love my shears! I purchased these shears a few years ago and I just had to purchase two other pairs. I use them for everything in my sewing studio. I have several pairs of very expensive shears that have not gotten any use since I purchased these. The store near me did not have these in stock however, I was able to order at store's ordering kiosk and received them at my door steps very quickly. Thanks to the in-store customer associate who assisted me with ordering them.
