I was immediately drawn to this collar because of the ingredients and I recognized melaleuca, lavandin, geraniol, and the fact that it uses aromatherapy principles. My horse usually hates sprays, so this was a great alternative. It smells woodsy and clean, and I noticed a difference in fly behavior within a couple of days. It stayed on through rides, rain, and lots of rolling. Honestly, such a cool and sustainable option.

For years, we have relied on this product for our horses, and it consistently performs well when paired with thorough manure cleanup in their paddock, fly traps positioned everywhere, and an all-natural fly spray. We appreciate that the collar is made from all-natural materials and essential oils, giving it a subtle and delightful fragrance. It doesn't completely mask their delightful horse scent. It can be easily modified to accommodate our 13-hh POA and our 36" mini well. We use the additional end strips that we cut off to deter flies from the barn area or to store in a saddle bag during trail rides. We change these collars every month or two in the spring, summer, and early fall. They are so effective that you'll notice when they start to lose their effectiveness, as the scent diminishes and the number of flies around the horses increases. Our sole issue is that the horses frequently manage to rub their necks enough to release the collar, and the small white clips can occasionally be hard to locate in the paddock. We try to keep those small white clips whenever we change to new collars, reusing them time and time again. Even though half of the clip's top broke off, we've still managed to use it effectively for months. The organization is fantastic as well. Recently, we got two collars that had no white clips included in their packages, and the company promptly sent us replacement clips. So yeah I strongly endorse this fly collar and appreciate the opportunity to back a company that truly believes in their products! .

I've been using this product for a couple of years. The PA summers are hot and humid and the insects are abundant. This product helps my horse have less flies bother him. This doesn't eliminate the use of other insect repellents, only minimize it. I will continue to use it as it's a natural alternative to very toxic chemicals most other products contain

It helps but it’s not a solution by itself. Horse still needs fly spray in addition to the collar. It is helpful for those horses that hate to have spray go anywhere near their ears
