Q: Is it safe to use on cats to kill fleas

1 Answer
  • A: Thank you for reaching out. While the product is labeled as “food grade,” it is specifically intended for use as an anti-caking agent in animal feed and not for human consumption. For use in animal feed, mix directly into feed at up to 2% of the total weight. For example, for 1 lb of feed, add up to 0.32 oz of DE (about 1 ½ teaspoons). For 50 lbs of feed, add up to 1 lb of DE. Blend thoroughly to ensure even coating, and store feed in a dry place to maintain the effectiveness of the DE.

DE - BEST ALL AROUND HOME & FARM

Used this in my horse pens and manure pile and viola, NO FLYS. It’s natural and it only takes a light dusting for the silica to cut open the exoskeleton of the flys, & other bugs, to kill them deader than a doorknob. It’s also a great food supplement at 2% per Sherman authorities. The Germans are crazy about eradicating flys before they ever become an issue. Great for everything, even yourself. All you have to do is take a teaspoon of it daily and the fine silicon will clean out the lines my of your gut and make it healthier. Have used this for years, for myself, all of my critters and ants!!!! Always use food grade / you can’t go wrong. You cannot hurt anything with this natural silica from diatoms. Go read about them. The earth provides everything we need so quit using harmful pesticides.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
