The Harris Farms 5 gal. Double-Wall Drinker is constructed from heavy-duty steel. This 5 gal. poultry fountain assures a generous supply of cool water to promote intake for up to 80 chickens or gamebirds. This drinker's constant water level is maintained in pan by vacuum, so no floats get stuck or replaced. The Harris Farms 5 gal. poultry drinker features a visible locking device and a roost prevention top. Its inner tank has a brass valve with rubber sealing washer for positive shut-off.

Save your money and buy a Little Giant one instead

Total piece of crap, don't waste your money on it. I bought one of these from tractor supply here in town and it leaks consistently I've even tried flex sealing the bottom of it, on the outside, and leveling it completely and it still leaks. Spend a little more money and buy a Little Giant one they're so much better and don't leak, even if they're on a slight incline. If I could give it zero stars and still read it I would.

Don’t expect to be able to hang this, or carry it when there is water in it. You can’t. If you hang it then water won’t come out. You can’t carry it with water in it either because it will just overflow into the drinking tray and spill all over. Don’t waste your time. Wish I could return this.

Rusted in about a year

Started out great, used with the separate heated base in the winter. Unfortunately in just about a year, it is now rusted. Very frustrating since I had ordered another, made in the US, about the same time and it has no rust.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hands down, best waterer! After purchasing plastic waters that had various parts (floater) that froze in the winter. The galvanize water is simple yet effective in design and isn’t susceptible to “parts” breaking in freezing conditions. Well worth price. Just purchased five to replace plastic waters.
