    Appears to be very solid, Haven't needed to use it yet but it's little twist looks promising. Will know next spring

    Great price, easy splitting

    I bought one of these, and a estwing sure split from a different store. I like this one a lot better. It does not bounce out like the estwing once it gets to the top of the wedge. The twist seems to help it move through the wood. I use a small 4 pound hammer with it and a large 8 pound and both work great.

    I purchased the twist wedge and the straight 5 lb. wedge at the same time. For me the twist wedge required less work on my part to split with and is my go to.
