GroundWork Mechanical Water Timer, GS-563 is rated 1.9 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hose connection breaks off too easily I have several timers like this but from a different company. They help tremendously by preventing the water from running all night if I forget to to shut if off. I purchased two Groundwork Mechanical Timers but in each case, within 4 uses, the hose connection broke off of the timer when repositioning the sprinkler. The timing mechanism still works well, though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy it! I bought one of these and the timer works great. However it didn't even last me an entire season because it's made of plastic and the pieces to hook it up to a break on you. I complain to tractor supply didn't really want another one but they sent me one anyway. I haven't decided if I'm going to actually use it or just return it and get something I can use. Save the headache and by yourself dollar kitchen timer

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good idea, just doesn't work well. Installed timer at the spigot to control water in drip irrigation lines. Couldn't figure out why furthest lines weren't flowing much water. Took off hose at timer to check flow and found the timer was restricting the flow by more than half.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Uses Water Wisely I have a large yard with three water outlets. Recently, I installed drip irrigation for our becs. The Ground Works timer is an inexpensive way to 'use water wisely'. I use Plant Water Rings for many of my perennials and I know each gets ample water. Shopping around, I found these very reasonable and they are easy to use.
