- A: . The sprinkler will spin if you give it some waterflow. And the minimum pressure to drive the sprinkler is 20 PSI. The threaded nut is a part which can control the sprinkler bar’s rotation. When you anticlockwise the threaded nut tightly, the sprinkler bar will stop rotation. This threaded nut not influence the water range. Water range is basing on water pressure, so the different speed of spin is because of different water pressure.a year agoHelpful?

Q: I was only able to achieve 35 feet diameter. There should be a psi range on the box. Very disapointing because it seems very well made and the throw pattern is unique.

Sturdy Sprinkler

I purchased this water sprinkler last year for my garden because my other one had broke. I want one that would last a long time & hold up in my garden. This sprinkler does just that. It is made of very good materials & after moving it all around my garden, it held up to my roughness. These days it is hard to find good quality, most things are made of plastic but this is made with a heavy duty cast iron base & is did not rust, break or bend under pressure. Good quality is hard to find & Tractor Supply has Good Quality Equipment! I highly recommend this sprinkler.

Sturdy design - bad watering pattern

I bought this because it was all metal instead of so many that are made of cheap, light-weight plastic. However, when watering a area with new top soil, I found the watering pattern to be inadequate. It looked like a giant bulls eye.

Sprinklers should be lead free.

I bought this because it was all metal, but I’m glad I checked the bottom of the box before I opened it. There’s a warning stating that it contains lead and to keep out of reach of children. I’m very careful about what I use around my family, animals, and yard so this was returned asap.
No, I do not recommend this product.
