- A: The best way to get the stakes securely into the ground is by using a rubber mallet or hammer. Because the Groundwork 30 in. Garden Fence Panel Kit is a "no-dig" system, the posts slide directly through the interlocking loops on the sides of each fence panel and stake straight into the dirt. Tractor Supply does not sell matching individual Groundwork brand posts separately from this kit. If you need a few extra stakes for complex corner configurations, you can look into generic 30-inch green metal or plastic garden stakes available at local hardware retailers to bridge any gaps9 days agoHelpful?

love this fence bought two want at least three more. but currently out of stock. hope the continue this product. put plastic step in posts for the electric wire around and they were tall enough to keep wire above this fence. it stopped the skunk and rabbit and the wire stopped the raccoon and deer. it is painted but conducts electric well to ground. need six stars for this item.

Super easy to install, amazingly sturdy

Over the years I've tried temporary fencing, only to find it difficult to install or not very sturdy. This fence was easy to install, all you need is a mallet or hammer, the stakes are sturdy and slip easily into little loops on the fence pieces. The Fence pieces are sturdy, they dont bend or sag. I was able to install this fence along a curved side walk and it worked great. I've already been able to easily remove a couple sections where not needed, and the rest of the fence remains till the garden is done.

Great sturdy fence

I have several sets of this type of fence from different manufacturers. The Groundwork fence is more sturdy than the other brands. The posts are thick and long enough to get a solid footing in the ground.
