- A: There was tin used to solder the spout and handle onto the can. The soldering tin contains lead in really low percentages. However, we do not suggest using it in a veggie garden or to drink from.3 years agoHelpful?

Thin metal on the bottom succumbs to rust quickly. You would think that it being galvanized metal that it wouldn’t develop pin holes. It developed a pinhole three weeks after buying it.

Do not buy, very poor workmanship, leaked from where they brazed the spout into the can and also from the rivets that attached the handle. This is a perfect example of today’s workmanship on everything. As simple as a water can that will not hold WATER!
No, I do not recommend this product.
