Q: Can I pound this in with a tool like a hammer? We have sticky dk brown clay that Is very difficult to install metal fence posts for tomato/grape vine supports.

I bought this bar to get through some very tough ground. My shovel got down about 8 inches or so then I hit a layer that just wouldn’t budge. This bar with its heft (17 lbs) and its special ends (1 pointed, the other flared) helped pick away at the ground until I got to my desired depth. It wasn’t easy, but it would have been nearly impossible without this tool.
