All four sides lock down with its steel foot operated locking levers and it glides smoothly across your shop floor.

This mobile base has a 1200 pound capacity.

If you need to extend the footprint of what this mobile base already offers, you may want to consider the T28346 Extension Bars.

Like all of the Grizzly mobile bases, the T31566 comes with a 1-year warranty covering parts and assuring the unit is free from factory defects.

less manueverable than expected

Bought this to put my new G1033x planer on, but it's less manueverable than I'd hoped. I think 4" casters will improve this, the 3" casters are just too small to work with an 800+ lb. machine, probably would work great under a lighter machine. Beyond manueverability/caster size... the rest is well designed and easy enough to assemble. I plan on buying 4" casters to replace the 3" casters that came with it.

Delta Unisaw

Worked just fine for my Delta Unisaw. Went together quickly and I managed to get the saw on the base with just myself and a few blocks of wood. I am glad I bought a base with 4 swivel casters as my shop is pretty cramped. I wish Grizzly's base with the larger diameter caster wheels had 4 swivel casters instead of only 2. However, I am pleased with my purchase.
