To help improve performance, we recommend confirming that the blade is installed in the correct orientation, that it is tightened securely to the manufacturer’s specifications, and that the underside of the mower deck is clean and free of built-up grass. It may also help to mow when the grass is dry, avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass height at a time, and keep the mower deck set to an appropriate height for your lawn conditions.
