Q: I've taken a look at the Greenworks website The 20AH batteries don't appear to be available for sale as of today's, i would assume they are the primary batteries for the mower. Will they be available soon and if so is there an estimated MSRP for them.

Q: Can the mower be charged with all the batteries in it. Or do you need to take batteries out and charge individually . Also. What is the warranty ? And where do you take to get fixed if problems. Who pays for transportation?

A: Hi Barney66. Thank you for your question. All batteries can remain in the unit to charge. Should you wish to charge the smaller amp hour batteries, they will require a 60V charger sold separately. This unit carries a 4-year manufacturer's warranty. Further information can be located in the owner's manual. Should you require assistance during the time of ownership for any warranty, simple contact Greenworks Tools directly. We hope this helped!

Maximus Z Perfect for me.

I mow my 1+ acre yasrd and a 1/2 mile trail through our 6 acre field on one charge and i go slow because of my physical condition. Love it, no gas or oil to mess with. Single point charging in a couple of hours and it is ready to go.

Once you get it, it's a good mower.

After my 60V/42" with less battery this machine lets me do 1.5 acres with lot's of fiddely work without ever having to look at the "fuel gauge". It's a decent ride on the seat. So far I love it. (10 hours) There is NO mulch kit available for it which is insanity. The shipping is beyond bad. Few available days, more than a week after it got to the local warehouse on the first attempt they never showed, and when they finally did on the following date they didn't know how to get it on the lift.... I had to take care of that...It had been quite sloppily assembled from the crating. (loose bolts, control handles more than 2" out of alignement).. Unsat.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good momer for flat property only

I bought this in 2024. If I had flat ground, I would rate 5 stars, but I have rolling property. It is hard to keep it going straight when you are on a 15 degree incline, or any incline. It is fast and effective. It cuts well and except for the problem on inclines, it works great. I wish I had bought the old style with the steering weel for my property. It is relatively quite and the batteries last a long time. It's nice not having to store gas, oil and changing spark plugs and air filters every year. It's comfortable and easy to use. I have not had a problem in tall grass or short.

Hello Texas Woodsmen Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with the CrossoverZ zero turn mower. It is great to hear that you are seeing strong cutting performance, runtime, and overall ease of use. For operation on inclines, zero turn mowers can require a bit of adjustment compared to steering wheel models, especially on slopes around 15 degrees. To help improve tracking and control, we recommend reducing speed and making gradual steering inputs whenever possible. Ensuring tire pressure is equal on both sides can also help maintain a straighter path. For properties with consistent rolling terrain, a steering wheel or lawn tractor-style unit may provide more stability, as you noted. We appreciate you highlighting both the strengths and limitations, as this helps other customers choose the right equipment for their property type. If you ever have specific questions or concerns about our products, contact Greenworks via Live chat on our website, call us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or refer to the FAQ ask section of the tool or ask us a question, anytime.

Great Mower

Wanted a new ridding lawn mower. I researched several and the zero turn was what I decided I wanted. I live in the country so running out of gas is not an option so battery powered was a great option. Have used this zero turn for 3 years now and it has been a great experience. It runs so smoothly and is durable and just as fast as a gas mower.
