- A: The posts for this garden bed kit are just over 11 inches tall. The combined height of the boards is 10.5 inches. If you wish to stack two kits together, the next layer of boards (so, the bottom board of the kit that will be stacked on top) will rest part-way into the post on the bottom. This layer of boards will overlap where the posts meet to help hold everything together. Otherwise, the posts will just sit one on top of the other, there is no need to add hardware or any other support.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: what is the best way to keep weeds out of the bed?

- A: Lightly water a granular weed control before mulching. If your garden bed is already mulched, use a topical weed preventer and water the mulch to ensure the weed preventer evenly spreads. Some weed preventers can be used several times in the growing season.4 years agoHelpful?

Great raised garden beds!

We have been looking around for raised beds for a while as we are getting older but still love to garden. Ordered these beds (2x8 and 4x8) and so far are really pleased with them. Installation is super easy. The ends where they come together are dovetailed providing a sturdy feel to the sides. The post at the corners are capped with a finish flat cap which makes the overall bed look custom made. We will have to see how well they hold out through our Winter months in MI. I would and have recommended these to family and friends.
