I got these not realizing they are best used with a drip hose but decided to use them anyway on a young mock orange I planted. If you dig a bit of a well around the plant and water, the stakes do deliver water deep into the ground, which is cool! I'm really excited to see how my plant matures over the years.

These things water, fertilize, and aerates directly at the roots, so you don’t need to use as much water. Ideally, this is the perfect way to get more water to trees and bushes that require a lot more water than your typical plants.
