Q: How do you attach it to the hose?

- A: Hello Nancy, you can use our stakes with a garden hose but we do not recommend putting the hose directly into the stake. Instead, dig a small well around your plant, install your stakes within the well, then fill the well with a hose. Water will then drain down and out of the stakes, deep watering at your plants roots. Directly inserting a hose into the stake will force water to enter too quickly; flooding the root zone and possibly damaging your plant. The stakes put water directly to the tree roots and starve surface rooted weeds, resulting in healthier trees, a lower water bill and less weeds to pull. Brilliant! The owners are nice folks. Buy direct.

I gave these to my dad who has a lot of plants and does a lot of gardening. He had been wanting to try this brand for quite some time. He states he is incredibly happy with the product, they are well made and do exactly as they advertise. They are durable and go in to the ground well. He will definitely be purchasing more.

I received this product free from deep drip and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. These stakes are soooo incredibly handy! I got the big 24 inch ones for my fruit trees. They’re super easy to use, you just fill them and then implant them by your chosen tree’s base so it can reach their root system. The tree winds up taking what it needs from the stake based on the current environmental conditions in its immediate area, so these are especially perfect for those that live in dry and arid places but want to make sure their favorite trees/plants stay alive. They’re well made and durable, they stay put even in the windiest of conditions and heaviest of storms so far. They're also set at a very reasonable price point. Highly recommend!
