The Rain Wizard Eco 50 gal. Rain Barrel is made with recycled material and features an attractive faux oak barrel design so it naturally fits in with your home and landscape. The downspout opening is protected by a plastic mesh screen to keep out bugs, animals, and debris while still being easy to remove for cleaning and maintenance. A front-side overflow directs excess water away from your outside wall. We bought two of these to store rainwater and they are good quality and easy to set up. Someone else had suggested placing them on blocks to make the spigot easier to access and that was a great idea. We raised them high enough to easily fit a bucket or watering can under the spigot. We collect water in an open tub under the roof then pump it into these barrels. The only drawback is the small screened opening on top that is not easy to remove or open. You have to remove 4 tiny screws to remove the screen, and it’s going to be difficult to wash out sediment in the barrel with such a small opening. It would have been great to be able to remove the lid from the barrel.
No, I do not recommend this product.
