If you compare the ingredients, it stacks up well against all of the high priced dog foods out there.

I have been using this dog food for years. My dog lost weight when we switched to this food years ago.

I switch from ToTW to Gentle Giants because my Giant mixed breed has a sensitive digestive tract and was eating 6+ cups of dry dog food daily. She liked her food but it gave her intermittent bouts of diarrhea and 2am emergency poop runs outside. After reading several independent reviews, their website, and food ingredients I purchased Gentle Giants Chicken and Beef w/Bacon then mixed them together. I served this with what was left of bag 4 of their other food. After about 3 days: no more diarrhea and/or smelly poops, my Giant mixed breed puppy was down to four-4.5 cups a day which she likes to graze, and both dogs are more energetic, playful, happier, and sleeps through the night. My Lab (the Hoover) sits like a patient vulture waiting for her 'little' sister to drop food (a first).
