- A: The child resistant feature means you must pull the trigger for butane while simultaneously pushing the top button forward to spark the lighter. Because of the resistance in the trigger and button and their distance apart, it is difficult for small children to use this lighter to make a flame.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: it states this unit is refillable. How much fuel does it actually hold? It would help to find out if it is cost effective to refill or treat it as a disposable.

- A: Heck yeah they are cost effective. I have some I've been using daily for years in my workshop, and they get used literally dozens of times a day. A small can of butane will refill one many, many times.5 years agoHelpful?
