Q: I purchased the unit that was advertised as WiFi enabled (#7009) for just that reason. I just want to be able to monitor it myself without a third party involved. Sounds simple, right? Can I monitor this unit myself as a stand-alone on my wireles LAN?
3 years ago- A: Hi! The tank level readings that the monitor takes are reported into Mobile Link. A subscription is required to view your tank level data in Mobile Link.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is the annual monitoring fee mandatory? Will this device function with the Generac Mobile app without purchasing the annual monitoring fee?

Q: Can we do our own monitoring with out having a monthly service
3 years ago- A: they used to have a wifi set up where you could do this. they stopped that a few years ago. Now you MUST go through A propane company and then MUST only buy from that company. if you can buy this one and own it separate from any dealer you can buy propane from any dealer. The first year cell service is free.....normally. After that you MUST purchase a plan. If you really want one LTE and i do believe they have satellite ones for remote areas. If you can get one separate from A dealer that is the best way. This way you can still choose for the cheapest price.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: I have a Jeep that uses propane instead of gasoline. Can I use this to monitor 34 pound lay down tank? Thanks.
3 years ago- A: The smallest propane tank we recommend for use with our automatic standby generators is a 250-gallon tank. We recommend working with your local propane supplier to determine the exact size tank that would be necessary for your application based off the volume and pressure requirements of the unit.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Will this work on 1000 gal. Horizonal propane tank?
3 years ago- A: Yes, this will work on a 1000 gallon tank.3 years agoHelpful?
