Great for at home to dealer techs

Are you in any form of automotive repair? Weather that be your do it yourselfer or your dealer trained tech, this scan tool is just what your looking for. It has the power that the dealer scan tools has the same access as the truck scanners do at a fraction of the cost. This thing will do anything from programming control modules to resetting oil lights and everything in between. It even comes with all the attachments for older cars that don’t take the standard obd2 port. The included stand is one of my favorite parts. It is made out of metal for its durability. It easily wraps around the top of a steering wheel for in car diagnostic. This scanner is a supper computer wrapped in a compact design.

It’s a very capable tool definitely recommend looking into

Initially I had issues getting through the setup process, I had to reset the device multiple times. Once set up I was able to update to the latest software and had no issues loading back up. The interface is simple and easy to navigate. Auto detecting and scanning speed is average there was a couple of scans where the module was not detected even though nothing had changed and the system was working normally. Live data is accurate when comparing to others and the graphing capabilities are easy to group and monitor together. The scanner was used for a couple weeks as the primary scanner for all diagnostics. Anything that we weren’t able to view or perform was also not available with other scan tools. We dropped it accidentally multiple times from approximately waist height and didn’t see any damage. The scan tool does come with a screen protector already installed so scratches on the screen are not aconcern. Overall there’s a lot of features, too many to list but this scanner is now a permanent tool that will be used for all diagnosis that require it.

Budget friendly pro level scan tool.

The GWSMART10 is definitely a pro level scan tool. It has full bidirectional control which is very handy. It is very fast and boots quickly. It has worked quickly and reliability on every vehicle I've used it on. Updates seem to install quickly and without any problems. The wireless charging dock is super convenient as well. I appreciate that the VCI is metal it is definitely more durable than any other one I've used.

The last computer you’ll ever need

After about 24 hours of updates. And a week of exploring this unit I finally have a grip on what this thing can actually do. This thing had every plug you’ll ever need to hook up to car. Now for the software this thing beats all other computer I had with a monthly scription. Three years of of free software upgrades yes please. For the functionality of this unit if you can dream it, it can do it. I haven’t find anything it can’t do. I leave it on the docking station and it auto updates and is ready for use always. It also has plenty of storage for data logging. The carrying case it light and super organized I love the foam insert . I would recommend this computer to anyone any day of the week
