Pets need year-round parasite prevention, and Frontline Gold Topical Flea and Tick Treatment for Cats is an easy way to keep fleas and ticks at bay. Available in a 3- or 6-month supply, each dose of this cat flea and tick solution works to protect pets for up to 1 month. It kills ticks in all their biting stages, as well as adult fleas, flea eggs, larvae and chewing lice, keeping furbabies safe from parasites and diseases, such as Lyme disease. Use this flea and tick prevention for cats ages 8 weeks and older and weighing 1.5 lb. or more.How it Works

FRONTLINE® Gold for Cats contains fipronil, which kills adult fleas and all biting stages of ticks, and the insect growth regulators (S)-methoprene and pyriproxyfen, which kills flea eggs and larvae to help prevent future re-infestations. After FRONTLINE® Gold is applied, fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles and continues to be released from hair follicles onto the skin and coat, resulting in activity against fleas, ticks and chewing lice.

Special Precautions

For external use only. Do not use on kittens under 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 1.5 lbs. Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide product for cats. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your cat with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Cats may experience some temporary irritation at the site of product application. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant, lactating, or nursing cats. If your cat is exhibiting signs of and/or is being treated for skin dermatitis, talk to your veterinarian before applying any topical flea and tick control product.

Side Effects

Monitor your cat after application. Side effects may include signs of skin irritation such as redness, scratching, or other signs of discomfort. Gastrointestinal signs such as vomiting or diarrhea have also been reported. If these or other side effects occur, consult your veterinarian or call 1-800-660-1842.

Storage

Keep this product in its tightly closed original container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry [preferably locked] area that is inaccessible to children and animals.
