The box packaging is not the best and the carrying strap is uncomfortable was coming apart and there was a hole where the strap meets the box. Better packing would make this product better.

The most telling thing about this litter is that my cat, who is usually sensitive to change, didn’t mind this litter! It don’t upset him in any way and he continued to use his litter box like normal. The litter did exactly what it claimed to do: it clumped well and made sifting easy. It also trapped odors well; we never smelled foul odors while testing this litter. Fresh Step Odor Shield is a good cat litter that makes maintaining your cat’s litter box easy and provides solid odor control. We give it two paws up… recommend!

There is a fresh scent too that keeps the house smelling better and controlling odors. The packaging is easy to use and carry. I bought 3 more boxes of this stuff. My cat is also happier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is like a fine powder but not too fine like dust. It has enough pebbles to coat and hold. It smells pretty good but not a strong smell that lasts. Storing it is easy but I wish the opening mechanism would be different
