sturdy post

We have used over a hundred of these to keep sheep and chickens safe. Yes the tops can sheer metal pieces if you don't hit them straight, but they are indestructible and should last over 20 years. I am only five feet tall and can put these in myself by pounding a starter hole with a short iron rod, stand on a milk crate or step ladder and then slamming them with a sledge hammer. In Maine our soil is shallow so if I can get them down 1 1/2 feet we are happy! Horses and cattle will need a strand of electric at the top unless you use the larger posts and go much deeper. Great post for the money.

will not drive straight

The ends on these T posts are twisted. They look like they were cut by shearing causing them to be misshaped and twisted like a screw and that is how they go into the ground. They twist into the ground as they are driven and also move off line. This makes a very sloppy looking job.

Perfect height and best price

The best thing about shopping online is I get what I want at the best price. I got these posts for a 100' roll of wire for my fall English peas. They were super easy to put in the garden. I rolled out the wire and used the clips that came with these posts to attach the wire to the posts. My peas are already climbing.
