I needed a tough bucket that would work in heat and freezing temps as outdoor water bucket. Works great. Hard plastic will crack in freezing conditions. Softer rubber can be torn apart by livestock

These buckets can be banged, dropped and knocked into by grouchy horses and not crack. Better investment when feeding multiple large animals that may not respect equipment.

I really looked forward to buying this bucket as it is made out of heavy rubber and would be very quit as my horse uses it for feeding. I did notice when I was replacing my other bucket "Little Giant" hard plastic, noisy during feeding ... the connections between the heavy duty rubber bucket and the heavy duty metal handle were thin wire compared to the ones used by Little Giant. Why would a competent engineer approve that on such an expensive item? it is now sitting and I don't know what to do with it, probably call Little Giant for a pair of their connectors and charge you for the cost.

I bought 5 of these for horses grain bucket. Every one of them the handles fell off because the metal pieces they hook to break or are lost because the handles come off. They say they are guaranteed for a year (I bought them in January). Tuff tubs won’t even respond to my emails - all I wanted was the metal pieces to hook the handles to.
