Fludrocortisone Acetate is a mineralocorticoid medication used to treat Addison's Disease (hypoadrenocorticism). It works by acting on the kidneys to regulate sodium and potassium levels in the body. Additionally, it may be utilized to lower elevated blood potassium levels. A corticosteroid, Fludrocortisone works by supporting the kidneys, enabling them to better balance potassium and sodium concentration in the blood. Tablets are sold individually. How it Works
Fludrocortisone helps the kidneys balance potassium and sodium concentration.
