Even if your postholes are offset or not the perfect widths, it's no longer an issue with this gate kit; just telescope the top and bottom rails to size and secure with the included tap screw, attach the chain link and trim then mount.2 years agoHelpful?

- A: Standard steel round tube 2 3/8” posts are the usual fence posts for chain link. You want to bury them 30” in-ground with 6” of gravel. Our gates include the frame hardware. Additional hardware need will be post hinges with a 5/8” pin.4 years agoHelpful?

Q: Does this kit include the chain link fencing and if so how do you cut it to the width you want?

- A: Includes everything you'll need to build a chain link walk through gate; Steel gate frame, powder coated chain link, lockable latch, gate hinges, steel wire ties (posts and post hinges not included). If you do need to make an actual cut, the best tool to use is a pair of bolt cutters. Although it's possible to use a power tool or even a hacksaw, bolt cutters offer a good in-between in terms of price and ease of use. Bolt cutters are also an easy tool for the majority of casual DIYers to get ahold off.5 years agoHelpful?

Quick to assemble and fairly intuitive assembly. You'll want some power tools and an extra set of hands to make it faster and easier. I mounted mine to a tpost with some separately purchased hardware. My chickens won't be jumping THIS gate.

I bought a gate fence. It was just the size I needed everything about it lightweight. I don’t need heavy duty commercial stuff. I’ve bought your stuff before and appreciate everything that you help me with. I would buy again when I need the next item.
