4 THINGS YOU NEED BEFORE BUYING THIS GATE: 1> You need to have a hack saw to adjust the length if you want anything shorter than the maximum dimensions. 2> Buy chain link gate hinges. In my book, a hinge is two parts - the part that attaches to the gate and the part that attaches to the post. This kit only comes with half hinges (the parts that attach to the gate). You will need the post hinge parts (get the parts with the hinge pin attached). 3> This is ONLY THE GATE - no posts included (not what's pictured). 4> This gate comes with a diagonal tension wire - proper installation of the wire strengthens the gate and keeps it square and tight. That being said, this gate did very well for us. Bought it for a new fence around an existing vegegable garden. We did not cut it down to a smaller size, as we wanted it large enough to ride our mower thru. Other reviewers said this was flimsy, but we found it sturdy, and it meets our needs very well. It came together in less than an hour. A good little gate for the money, but the description on the website could use some improvement.

Nothing like the picture or what was described. Store staff rude. Horrible experience.I would give it zero stars if I could. The gate came in pieces for you to put together and you do not receive the side post to hang it. They do not even sell them at the store! If you going to sell something at least have it so you can get all of the items to finish it at the store. Then the staff was rude about us thinking about returning it. We found a much better deal at another bigger store. I hate doing that and would rather help out my local small store. This item was was made of cheap metal my dog would run right through it. However, over priced item that is nothing like the picture does not work for us. Plus, the staff at our local store never seem happy, never walk with a bounce in their step, and you are always bothering them when you ask them a question. Not going back again for items like this. The store has needed a major facelift, the staff needs to be more friendly, and your website needs to describe items better!
