A: Hold the knife with the blade facing away from you. 2. Locate the liner lock — it's a metal tab on the back side of the handle (the same side as the blade's spine when open). 3. Use your thumb to press the liner lock tab sideways (away from the blade's tang) to release it from the locked position. 4. Keep pressing the lock so it stays disengaged. 5. Gently push the blade counterclockwise toward the closed position. 6. Once the blade passes the locking point, you can release the liner lock and fully close the blade into the handle. ⚠️ Safety note: Keep your fingers clear of the blade's path when closing. The counterclockwise motion described assumes you're looking at the knife with the blade tip pointing up and the lock on the right-hand side (common for right-handed liner locks).
