Q: My Husband used this Prodyct for Years to Keep our Saddles and Tack in the Best Condition to keep them looking Like New. It keeps the Leather Pliable and Soft. Do You think this Would Help On A Leather Couch ?

- A: Please see the manufacture's response below. Although Saddle Oil will work great to condition and oil saddles and tack, we do not recommend it for us on leather upholstery as the finishes on the leather are usually very different. The risk is if it applied too heavily that the leather will remain oily to the touch. If they would like to test it, we recommend trying it on a discreet part of the sofa (i.e. back or side) in very light coats to see if it achieves the goal for them.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: I have a light tan dressage saddle with tooling ( unique) I dont want to darken the saddle does this product effect the natural color of the leather?

For a low grade saddle oil it does the job. Great for breaking in cheaper stuff leather like replacement latigos

This oil is apparently to be used for saddles. I do not own a saddle, but I do ride a steel horse...this requires a leather jacket which keeps the elements and cold out and protects me in the event my Harley Davidson steel horse bucks me off...This stuff worked amazingly on my jacket! I rubbed in several coats with a cotton t-shirt and the leather is soft, supple, and well preserved! Absolutely amazing; brought my jacket back to life!
