Q: I've read online that NEATSFOOT oil can be used on furniture. It will feed the wood as well as give a hardened finish that is water repellent. Can you give me any further details about using it as such? Thanks!

- A: Pure Neatsfoot may darken light colored leathers. In addition, we generally do not recommend using Neatsfoot oil on leather upholstery. If too much is applied, the oil will remain on the surface and would rub off on clothing. Fiebings neetsfeet oil. If it is a Fiebings product it's a quality product. I have been using this oil for years. I have a leather shop and oil all of the products I build. I use it on my work boots, work gloves, welding gloves,belts. You name it. It a quality product from a quality company
