It's a cool toy but it is all plastic.it also looks bigger in picture. Plastic tires have poor traction

Hard to move

Does not work well. Our son is 3 and can proficiently ride a bike without training wheels. These pedals are not good and he couldn't get it to move on anything but flat concrete. I ended up having to push the backhoe around for him while he played.

My 3yo grandson loves it! Operation of the scoops seemed a little stiff, and the directions were “ok” However; I would caution against allowing 2 adult “alpha” males put it together unless you have a bowl of popcorn at the ready.
