Need a spout for your old gas can? Get the EZ-POUR Spout & Vent Kit. It's a great way to update your old gas cans to keep them functioning efficiently. The spout is engineered from HDPE making it impervious to all commonly used liquids. Spouts comes with a flame arrestor for enhanced safety

Q: do the spouts store in side gas can?

- A: They can be, but you will need to check to see if it will fit inside the opening, if it does, we sell a "sealing disk" #SD1 to seal the can off when the spout is inverted.9 months agoHelpful?

- A: The inner diameter of the threads for both rings included with this product are 1 3/4", which is the standard size for portable fuel containers manufactured before January 2009. Additional threaded rings can be ordered to fit unique cans. Modifications are not recommended.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can sz. 1 gal, 1 1/4gal, 2 gal, 2 1/2 Gal. Midwest, Blitz, Eagle, Chilton Brands. Are there spouts available for all these plastic cans? Purchased generator from TS on 9/2 & have not taken out of box. Doing background research first. Once out of box?

Q: So how do you find out if your gas can was manufactured before Jan 2009

- A: The date is shown is the manufacturer date in MM-YY format. Most tanks are good for 12 years from the date of manufacturer, so check this carefully. If 12 years have passed from the date on your tank, your tank is expired and isn't fillable according to state guidelines.3 years agoHelpful?

Q: I have red plastic gas cans needing a new spout, one is Blitz USA , one is Sceptor (Blitz successor). Blitz has 1/4 inch spaced threads and Scepter has 1/2 inch spaced threads, none of the ads show thread dimensions. Will this spout fit one of these?

Great Poduct!

I actually found these in my local Tractor Supply store and decided to try one on my old Blitz can. Wow! when I put i9n the vent, and selected the best base for the spout (2 bases come with each kit) and went to pour my gas...not a single drop of gas leaked anywhere! These are much much better than the new gas can spouts which takes 3 hands to operate! Good job guys at EZ-POUR! and thanks TSC for stocking them. I went back and bought 4 more for my other cans...which are all different makes...and the spouts fit every can!

Good Idea, Poor Quality

I bought 5 of these starting last year for my old Blitz red gas cans. Initially they worked great and I was very pleased. Now a year later, the gasket has come loose on two of the spouts and they leak too much to use anymore. Also 2 of the vent caps have broken. Good idea, poor quality.

Great Nozzle - Stands the Test of Time

I have had this nozzle on my gas tank for three years and it works great. It s so much better than the new safety nozzles that come on gas cans. This is a higher quality than you will find with most brands purchased on the internet.

The cap spout probably would have worked fine if they had a gasket. Unfortunately I found out the gasket isn’t included in the kit after I got it home. Then I found out the gasket isn’t even available at my store where I bought the kit. Would not recommend.

Way better than the California junk that comes with the gas cans! No spraying all over your feet, just goes into the gas tank!
