This ready-to-use suspension contains ceftiofur in the crystalline free acid form. This broad-spectrum antibiotic belongs to the cephalosporin class. It is active against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, including strains that produce B-lactamase. Ceftiofur is a bactericidal antibiotic works by inhibiting synthesis of the cell wall.

• Controlling BRD in lactating dairy, non-lactating dairy, and beef cattle who are highly susceptible to BRD caused by Histophilus somni, Pasteurella multocida, and Mannheimia haemolytica
• Treating foot rot (interdigital necrobacillosis) in lactating dairy, non-lactating dairy, and beef cattle caused by Porphyromonas levii and Fusobacterium necrophorum
• Treating lower respiratory infections in horses associated with susceptible Streptococcus equi ssp. zooepidemicus strains
