Q: Can lid be propped up for excess heat for tomato plants before frost season

Q: How does the item protect against insects and bad weather once the polycarbonate cover is taken out of the lid frame? Wouldn't the polycarbonate side panels contribute too much heat for cold weather crops like lettuce in the warmer weather?
9 years ago- A: The lid has two covers: mosquito netting and polycarbonate. When you remove the poly sheet - the netting stays in the frame of the lid.
